As every year Michael was able to keep himself in the championship battle until the last round. Unfortunately it was not supposed to be and they had to settle with 7th position in the very tight championship. In a season where bad luck and trouble struck the #22 car ever so often, Michael was able to record 3 Pole Positions and finish on the podium 2 times.
