The last 2 races of the FIA GT1 World Championship will be held in Interlagos and Argentina. From tomorrow on I will go to England to practice the circuit on a simulator as I don't know both circuits. Both circuits should in theory fit our Nissan GTR very well. But we will never know that for sure until we are really at the circuit driving.
Our target is to have a great result to finish the season, which has not always been lucky for us. We had some good podium finishes but also many unfortunate retirements. Therefore the championship position is not good at all. But in the team championship we still have a chance to finish third. And that would be a great result for Sumo Power GT and Nissan. So we will all try our very best to achieve that target.
Also the last race in St Luis is at the same date as the annual Nismo Festival in Fuji. I apologize to all our japanese fans for not being there this year, but I know that you really support us very much wherever we are in the world. So I want to say thank you for that!

FIA GT1世界選手権でのラスト2レースがインテルラゴスとアルゼンチンにて開催されます。明日からは両サーキットとも馴染みがないのでシミュレーターでサーキット練習を行うためにイギリスに渡ります。両サーキットは理論上Nissan GTRにとてもよく合うはずなのですが、サーキットで実際ドライビングするまでは確実なことは何もわかりません。
僕たちのターゲットはシーズンを最高の結果で終えることです。でも、いつも幸運であるとは限りません。何度か表彰台にも上がり良い結果を残しましたが、それに反して多くの不運なリタイヤもありました。 ですので、選手権のポジションは決して良くはありません。しかし、チーム選手権としてはまだ3位入賞のチャンスが残っており、これはSumo Power GTとNissanにとっては素晴らしい結果になります。だから僕たちはみんなそのターゲット獲得にベストを尽くすつもりです。
また、セント・ルイスでの最終レースは富士で開催される年に一度のニスモフェスティバルと同日にあります。僕が今年そちらに参加できないことについては、日本のファンの皆さんには申し訳なく思っています。しかし、僕たちが世界中のどこにいようと皆さんは本当に強力なサポートをしてくれているのは分かっています。そのことには本当に感謝しています！
