Season Opener in Abu Dhabi next week!
It has been a long winter break, but next week the GT1 World Championship will kick off in Abu Dhabi. Tomorrow I will fly there already in order to get used to the hot temperature. There is a special test day on Wednesday, which will help us to understand the circuit better since it is new for us and we have no data so far. We also did more testing in Silverstone and we feel ready to take on the challenge.
The question of how competitive we are can still not be answered today. There will still be an evaluation test on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi conducted by the FIA, and only after that result is clear, the weight of all the cars will be decided. As mentioned before already, I'm confident in the performance of the GTR and we will do our very best to have a weekend as smooth as possible. One of the big excitements will certainly be the pitstops. Those have to be done by just 2 mechanics and it will be a long stop! So we are looking forward to lots of action.
来週いよいよアブダビのシーズン開幕！
長い冬期休暇を経て、いよいよ来週GT1ワールドチャンピオンシップがアブダビで開催されます。 明日、現地の高温に慣れるべくアブダビへ飛ぶ予定です。 サーキットが新し く今のところデータが全くないので、水曜日にはより理解するためのスペシャルテストがあります。また、私たちはシルバーストーンではいつも以上のテストを行ってきましたので、チャレンジする準備ができていると感じています。
どれくらい競争力があるかについては今日はまだ答えることができません。まだこれから水曜日にFIAによる評価テストがアブダビで実施され、その結果が明確になった後にやっとすべての車の重量が決められることになります。 既に以前述 べたように、私はGTRの性能に自信があり、週末にはできるだけスムースになるよう私たちはベストを尽くすつもりです。 大興奮の1つは間違いなくピットストップでしょう。これはたっ た2人のメカニックが作業を完了していなければならず、ロングストップになることでしょう! ということで、多くのアクションを楽しみにしています。
