Algarve R7 Preview
After our disappointing weekend at the Nurburgring, we are all looking forward for the next round in Portugal. We have done some testing on that circuit last year and the circuit layout is really exciting. The elevation changes and blind braking points make it a tough challenge to be consistently fast. We are eager to get the Nissan GTR back in the top 6 in qualifying and are aiming for another podium finish.
With the success ballast of all our GTR's now being at 0kg, we should be in good shape for a good result and have no excuses. The layout should fit us also a bit better than Nurburgring. With 4 races left in the championship we have to score good points now in order to make it into the Top 10 in the overall rankings.
The problems and misfortune we had in the last 2 races hurt us badly, but on the other hand we learned a lot and all those 'little troubles' are fixed now. I'm confident now that we will be strong in the last races, but of course we also need a little bit of luck...as usual in racing!

ニュルブルクリンクの期待はずれの週末の後、僕たちは皆、ポルトガルの次ラウンドを楽しみにしています。 昨年僕たちはそのサーキットでいくつかのテストをしましたが、サーキットレイアウトは本当にエキサイティングです。 標高変化と盲目のブレーキングポイントで一貫して早く走るにはタフな挑戦になります。 僕たちはGTRが上位6位で予選を通過することを熱望しており、またポディウムフィニッシュを飾ることを目的としています。
現在、僕たちGTR勢のサクセスバラストは0kgなので、良い結果のための良い形であり、そして弁解の余地は全くありません。 レイアウトはニュルブルクリンクより少しばかり僕たちに合うようです。 残りの選手権の4レースで、総合順位Top10に入るために今はよいポイントを獲得しなければなりません。
直近2レースで起こった問題と不運はひどく僕たちを傷つけましたが、一方では、多くを学びましたし、すべての'小さい問題'は現在改善されています。後半のレースで強くなる自信がありますが、もちろん、僕たちには少しの運も必要です…レースにはツキモノですね!
