Roland Garros and GTR
After the race in Brno I immediately left to be able to attend Kimiko's match in Paris against former number one Dinara Safina. It was a long drive, but I made it all in time and it was a good job I did. The match that we were able to witness was just amazing. Kimiko played with a calf injury and even so made the impossible possible and won the first round in Paris. That match for sure not only gave myself a lot of inspiration and motivation, but also everyone that witnessed this epic duel.
The next day I made my way to Germany to pick up my new GTR from Nissan in Germany. I drove it back to Monaco and I never enjoyed the ride as much before. The GTR is obviously the same base as our Racing car and it amazes me always how much they feel alike. For me the GTR has always been the perfect Racing car with its forgiving handling that allows you to push the car to its limits all the time. But the Road GTR is exactly the same and the joy of driving it is just amazing. You have to experience it!

ブルーノのレースが終わってすぐ、僕はパリで元No1のDinara Safinaと対戦するKimikoの試合を観戦できるように出発しました。 遠乗りでしたが、すべて時間内に走らせ、上々の出来でした。 僕たちが目撃した試合は、ただただ驚くべきものでした。 Kimikoはふくらはぎの負傷でプレーして、それなのに不可能を可能にさえして、パリでの一回戦に勝ちました。その試合は確かに多くのインスピレーションとモチベーションを僕自分に与えましたが、僕だけではなく、この勇壮な勝負を目撃した皆にも与えたました。
翌日、ドイツで日産から私の新しいGTRを引き取りにドイツへと向かいました。 私はモナコに乗って戻りましたが、以前とは比べ物にならないくらい非常に楽しい運転でした。 GTRはもちろん僕たちのレーシングカーと同じベースで、どんなに似た感じかは僕をいつも驚かせてくれます。僕にとって、GTRは絶えず限界まで車を突き動かすようなハンドリングをさせてくれる完璧なレーシングカーです。 しかし、Road GTRはまさに同じで、それを運転する喜びはまさに驚くべきものです。 みなさんも是非経験すべきです!
